A little about me

Hi everyone!

Seeing as this is my very first post I'd thought I'd take the time to introduce myself and this blog. I'm a fashion student in her early 20s. I'm a bit of a geek, I grew up climbing trees and playing computer games.

So how did I get into fashion? I was taught cross stitch from a young age, which progressed to sewing. As a teenager who cannot afford to buy the clothing she wanted to wear it's either learn to make it yourself or go without and I wasn't about to go without. It's only when I was in my late teens I started becoming interested in makeup and beauty. Still not having a proper job I discovered the wonderful world of sampling! Which leads me to this blog.

This is my space to share my opinion on the wonderful and sometimes not so wonderful items that are sent my way to try. Some things I love so much that I'd like to be able to buy everyone, and others I wouldn't even take a second look at. But isn't that the beauty of samples! Trying things out before you do spend money on them and, hopefully not, find out that's it's just a waste of money.

While most of my items will come from subscription boxes,  some won't.

If you're wondering what a subscription box is, it's a box that you pay a small amount to purchase (usually enough to cover shipping and handling) and it's filled with samples to a set value for you to try every one or two months. Everyone's samples are different. I will make sure to let you know where each sample has come from, and where you can buy the box from if you're wanting to receive these yourself.
